Implants and bone augmentation — single tooth, All-on-4, All-on-X, teeth-in-a-day, and the full range of remote-anchorage solutions: zygomatic, pterygoid, trans-sinus, and trans-nasal placements for patients with severe maxillary atrophy. Block and socket bone grafting, sinus and nasal lifts, ridge splitting, and Khoury plates are all part of the toolkit. X-Nav navigated surgery available for sub-millimeter precision on complex cases.
Sedation and anesthesia — RCDSO-approved on-site general anesthesia delivered by an anesthesiologist from London Health Sciences Centre. IV moderate sedation provided by Dr. Larsen, Dr. Zeyad Hammad, and Dr. Will Xie. Oral sedation and nitrous oxide also available. Combined-treatment-under-GA is offered for patients with severe dental anxiety, complex cases, or special needs — entire treatment plans can often be completed in a single visit.
Pediatric, oral surgery, and imaging — pediatric care via visiting specialist Dr. Sean Beattie, who comes in once monthly and welcomes referrals from surrounding offices. Wisdom teeth, biopsies, and complex extractions all handled under sedation as needed. CBCT imaging available to local dental offices at a referrer-discount rate — call ahead to schedule diagnostic-only scans.
Standard practice at Suncoast: we handle surgical placement and surgical follow-up; restorative work — crowns, bridges, prosthetic teeth, and ongoing restorative maintenance — returns to the referring dentist. Records, 3D scans, surgical guides, treatment-plan documentation, and post-op imaging are provided as part of the case handoff so you have everything you need to restore.
Patient correspondence always references the referring practice. We don't market restorative or aesthetic services back to your patient — no email follow-ups for whitening, veneers, or anything else after the surgical phase is complete.
If a patient prefers Suncoast handle restoration too (no general dentist, or recently moved), we check in with the referring office before proceeding — coordinated decision, not a quiet handoff.

What the process looks like end to end for a typical implant or sedation case referred to Suncoast.

A quick phone discussion is welcomed before formal referral — happy to talk through whether a patient is a candidate for remote-anchorage implants, single-visit GA, or pediatric specialty input.
Send what you have — recent panoramic, CBCT if you have one (otherwise we'll take ours, and offer CBCT at a referrer-discount rate to local offices for diagnostic-only scans), medical history, and any restorative plan you've already started building.
We see the patient for a free consultation with our own CBCT and a treatment plan. Plan and projected costs go in writing to both patient and referring office before any procedure is scheduled.
The work is performed under the planned sedation modality — IV moderate or on-site general anesthesia by an LHSC anesthesiologist for complex multi-procedure cases. Surgical guides, X-Nav navigation, and same-day provisionals from our 3D-printing lab as the case calls for.
Post-op imaging, surgical notes, healing-stage protocols, and any prosthetic-design files (3D scans, guides) sent back to the referring office. The patient is told the restorative phase is handled by you, and we don't market restorative or aesthetic services to your patient afterward.
