Making the larger cases work financially

Financing is available, especially on larger cases like All-on-X full-arch restorations and complex implant work. We also accept most major payment methods, work with private insurance, and direct-bill CDCP for eligible patients. We'll discuss specific options before any commitment.

Payment options and financing for larger cases

Routine dental care is typically a straightforward transaction — covered by insurance, by CDCP for eligible patients, or paid at the visit. Where things get more involved is for larger treatment plans: full-arch implant restorations like All-on-4 and All-on-X, complex remote-anchorage cases, multi-stage cosmetic reconstructions, and treatment plans done in a single visit under general anesthesia.

For larger cases, financing is available. The exact terms depend on the case size, your specific financial situation, and the financing partner. We work with patients to arrange payment plans rather than expecting the full cost upfront. The owner's note: "We do payment plans, especially on our larger all-on-X cases." We'll walk through specific financing options at the consultation once we know what your treatment looks like.

Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, debit, and bank transfer. For insured patients, we offer direct billing where the insurance carrier allows it — meaning the insurance portion is billed directly to your provider and you pay only the remainder. For CDCP patients, we also direct-bill the eligible portion. We predetermine benefits before any larger treatment so the out-of-pocket cost is clear before you commit.

How financing conversations work

From treatment plan to payment plan

Cost is part of the consultation, not an afterthought. Here's the typical sequence for a larger case.

1

Free consultation and treatment plan

We assess your case, take imaging where needed, and put together a written treatment plan with associated costs. For implant or full-arch cases, this often includes multiple options at different price points.

2

Insurance and CDCP predetermination

We submit a predetermination to your insurance carrier and to CDCP if applicable. Typical response time: 1 to 2 weeks. The written response confirms exactly what's covered.

3

Cost summary and financing discussion

We sit down with the predetermination response, walk through the covered and uncovered amounts, and discuss financing options for the patient portion if you'd like to spread payment.

4

Financing application (if applicable)

For patients pursuing a payment plan, we help with the financing application. Approval is typically quick. Terms vary by case size and partner — we discuss specifics so you know exactly what monthly payment to expect.

5

Schedule treatment with clarity

Once financing is approved and the plan is confirmed, we schedule treatment knowing what's covered, what's owed, and how payment will work. No surprise bills.

Financing & payment — frequently asked

Common questions about paying for dental care at Suncoast.

Yes — especially for larger cases. All-on-X full-arch restorations, multi-stage implant cases, and complex treatment plans typically have financing options. Specifics depend on the case and financing partner; we discuss options at the consultation.
Yes. For routine treatment, fees are typically known and straightforward. For larger plans, we predetermine benefits with your insurance and provide a written cost estimate before scheduling. There shouldn't be surprises.
Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit, and bank transfer. For insured patients, we offer direct billing where possible — you pay only the patient portion. For CDCP, we direct-bill the eligible portion.
CDCP covers most routine procedures fully for eligible patients but has copays and exclusions on some services. For excluded items, the cost is yours; some patients combine CDCP with private insurance, and we coordinate billing across both. See our CDCP FAQs for details.
Single implants are mid-tier dental investments; full-arch restorations like All-on-X are significant. The financing options we offer are designed for exactly that — making it possible for patients who couldn't pay the full amount upfront to spread the cost. We'll walk through the math with you at the consultation.
