Suncoast Dental is in Goderich and serves patients from throughout Huron and Bruce County. We're a regional resource for capabilities not typically available in smaller community practices — on-site general anesthesia (only RCDSO-approved GA permit in the area), advanced implants including remote-anchorage, and same-day 3D-printed restorations.

Most patients use a local dentist for routine cleanings and checkups — that's the right choice for convenience and continuity. Suncoast is positioned as a regional resource for the procedures that small-town practices can't easily provide. The biggest single moat is on-site general anesthesia: Suncoast is the only practice in the area with the RCDSO-approved permit, delivered by an anesthesiologist from London Health Sciences Centre. That capability is the difference between hospital admission and a single-visit dental treatment plan.
Beyond GA, the things that bring patients in from across the region include the full implant menu (All-on-4, All-on-X, zygomatic, pterygoid, trans-sinus, trans-nasal), X-Nav navigated implant surgery, our on-site SprintRay 3D-printing lab, CBCT 3D imaging (also offered to local dentists at a discount), and digital and AI smile design for cosmetic planning. Dr. Larsen's TMJ and orofacial pain training from USC is another draw for specific cases.
We accept patients directly — no referral needed. Many regional patients use Suncoast specifically for the moat procedures and keep their local dentist for routine care; we coordinate with home dentists when that's the right structure. For longer-distance patients, we plan treatment to compress work into fewer visits — single-visit GA cases, grouped appointments, and same-day restorations whenever possible.
Beyond patient care, Suncoast is also a regional resource for other dentists. CBCT 3D imaging is offered to local dentists at a discount for their own cases. Pediatric referrals from surrounding offices are welcomed via Dr. Sean Beattie's monthly visits. Implant cases that need on-site GA or remote-anchorage capability are common referral routes. The aim is to be the practice colleagues can confidently send patients to for the procedures their own offices aren't set up for.
