The technology compresses what used to take weeks and multiple visits into a single visit.
Real — every piece on this list is in active clinical use at our practice and supported by published clinical literature. Dr. Larsen's SprintRay KOL role means we're not just users but evaluators of the platform with the manufacturer.
Some pieces, yes — intraoral scanners are widely adopted now, and many practices have CBCT. The combination we run is harder to find outside a major city: on-site SprintRay lab plus CBCT plus X-Nav plus on-site GA permit. That combination is what lets us handle complex implant cases and same-day full-arch restorations in-house.
Mixed — some technology reduces cost by eliminating outside lab fees and second-visit overhead. CBCT scans typically add a modest fee but replace the need for multiple separate X-rays. We're transparent about technology fees upfront so there are no surprises.
We continue evaluating new 3D-print materials with SprintRay, new digital workflow improvements, and AI tools that improve treatment planning. Anything we adopt has to clear two bars: better clinical outcomes or meaningfully better patient experience. Marketing-driven tech doesn't make the cut.
