Suncoast Dental was founded in 2024 by Dr. Byron Larsen, DDS and Dr. Zeyad Hammad, DDS as equal partners. Our practice is located at 397 Bayfield Road in Goderich, with unlimited parking and full wheelchair accessibility. We are independently owned — Suncoast Dental is not part of any corporate dental group, and our team is made up of people who live in this community.
The practice combines a small-town clinic feel with advanced procedures usually only available in major urban centres. Patients regularly travel in from across Huron County — Bayfield, Blyth, Clinton, Exeter, Grand Bend, Kincardine, Lucknow, and Wingham — and we accept referrals from London and Toronto for complex implant cases.
We believe dental care should focus on prevention, education, and personalized plans tailored to who you are — not generic protocols. That means we listen first, explain clearly, and tell you what things cost up front. We follow the ODA Fee Guide and in many cases charge less.
In practice, this means our patients aren't referred elsewhere for sedation, general anesthesia, advanced implants, or 3D-printed restorations — those services all live under one roof here. Patients who've been told elsewhere they aren't implant candidates often discover they are, thanks to advanced implant procedures like zygomatic and pterygoid placements. And for patients navigating cost, we accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan and help with the application if you need it.
Suncoast Dental is led by Dr. Byron Larsen, DDS and Dr. Zeyad Hammad, DDS as principal partners, with associate dentists Dr. Will Xie, DDS and Dr. Ahmed Hammad, DDS, plus visiting pediatric specialist Dr. Sean Beattie. They were absolutely amazing. Fit me in as soon as possible and helped me with a treatment plan for the future. I even had a question late at night and emailed them and was shocked to see them reply within 20 minutes.
